Helloween
Well, Halloween was the tidal wave of activity we always hope it will be. October is our busiest month at Mohair Pear and this year was no exception. You get to look into people's minds just a little bit during this time of year and here's a couple of things I've noticed:
-Where's Waldo? Probably the single most popular get up for young guys. I saw one guy on Halloween night who out of desperation had taken a red shirt and covered it with white duct tape to make stripes. That's dedication.
-Guys dressing as women. They don't do it much anymore. A couple years back we had tons of guys wanting the wig, the dress, the makeup and the shoes if they could find something that kind of fit. Not sure what this means.
-Hunter S Thompson I think Hunter is now a permanent (5 years or so anyway) part of the Halloween experience. You get the hat, the aviators, the cig. holder and a Hawaiian shirt and you're good to go. The more creative types have someone dressing up as the "attorney".
Hope this helps.
All right, we'll talk to you later.
-Dave
